Easily Restore Your GE Switch with These Steps
It’s common for home appliances to occasionally run into issues. A great way to reset your GE switch and get your appliance back in proper working order is to follow a few easy steps. With the right approach, resetting your switch can be simple and straightforward.
First, use your appliance’s power cord to unplug the device. Depending on your GE switch, you may be able to reset the switch with the appliance still plugged in. If this is not possible though, completely unplugging the device is the next best solution.
Once you have the device unplugged, locate the reset button. Most GE switches will have a reset button on the side of the device or just above the power cord. Press and hold the reset button for 5-10 seconds, then release. This will perform a reset on your switch.
After you have released the reset button, plug the appliance back in and turn it on. If everything went correctly, you should be able to continue using your appliance as usual.
Resetting your GE switch is typically an easy, straightforward process. Utilizing the above steps can help to reset your appliance in no time, allowing you to get back to utilizing it as normal.
