Washing Machine Not Drying or Spinning

I have a washing machine that is not spinning or drying properly. It is not making any noise and the control panel seems to have power. I tried to look at the back to see if the motor is spinning, but I am unable to tell. Can anyone help me diagnose the issue?

Can you describe any symptoms you have noticed with the machine, such as noises or issues with the control panel? It may also be helpful to see if you can determine if the motor is spinning or not.

Some potential causes for this issue include motor brushes, a faulty belt, a malfunctioning motor, a clogged drain pump, or a problem with the motor controller. Can you please provide any additional details that may be relevant to the problem?

I don’t have any additional information to provide. I am not sure how to check the motor brushes or belt.

Checking the motor brushes and belt will require some disassembly of the machine, so it may be best to call a technician if you are not experienced with repairing appliances. In the meantime, you can try unplugging the machine and checking the drain pump for any clogs. If the pump is clear, you can try restarting the machine to see if that fixes the problem.

I called a technician and they found that the motor had short circuited. They replaced the machine with a new one. The problem is now solved.
